Title: Moo, Baa, La La La             Author/Illustrator:  Sandra Boynton                       Publisher:  Little Simon

Synopsis:  Barnyard animals learn their proper vocabulary (and, by implication, their proper life scripts).

Readability:  Great fun for parents.  Simple text and compelling rhyme scheme, lots of animal sounds.
Very entertaining for Chloe.  She likes the rhymes, animal sounds, and the funny voices her parents use to make the animal sounds.
A pretty easy book to read when Chloe is active and turning pages herself.  The rhyme scheme means you've got the text memorized by the third or fourth reading, and if you forget, you can quickly remember what kind of noise a duck makes ...

Visual Appeal (i.e., how entrancing Chloe finds it while turning the pages herself with nothing read to her):
Excellent.  The drawings are cute, colorful, and easy for Chloe to makes sense of.

Tooth-appeal:  Gnawed.  The lower binding is the tastiest.
